Somali Foreign Minister receives the Chargé d’Affairs of the Djibouti Embassy on a courtesy visit

Mogadishu (MFASomalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abshir Omar Jama, received today in his office at the Ministry the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Rachid Ibrahim, on a courtesy visit.The Chargé d’Affairs of the Djibouti Embassy offered his sincere congratulations to the new Foreign Minister, His Excellency Abshir Omar Jama, wishing him continuous success in the tasks delegated to him, praising the solid relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

For his part, Minister Abshir Omar stressed that Somalia stands by the government and the people of Djibouti, pointing to the distinguished relations that bind them and the importance of upgrading them to strategic partnerships of mutual benefit through coordinating efforts aimed at this.
