Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, signed today at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the capital, Mogadishu, a book of condolences following the devastating earthquake that struck several cities in Turkiye and Syria on Monday.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Hamza Aden Haadoow .
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offered his sincere condolences and sincere feelings of solidarity and sympathy to the brotherly Republic of Türkiye, the leadership and government, and to the families of the victims, and continued, saying, “We assure you that the government and people of Somalia stand by brotherly Turkey in these dire circumstances. We are confident in your ability to overcome this difficult ordeal with all firmness and steadfastness.
