Tripoli (MFASomalia) – On February 16, 2018, H.E. Dr. Ali Said Faqi, the Somali ambassador to Benelux and the European Union, carries out his mission in cooperation with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Somali Embassy in Tripoli Mr. Muhiaddin Mohamed Kalmoi and meets with senior officials of the Libyan Foreign Ministry to release the detained Somali citizens and repatriate them to the country.
A delegation of ambassadors from the African Union headed by the Somali ambassador to Ethiopia is expected to arrive in Libya soon.
